Tween creates anticipation, breakdowns, and overshoot keyframes. Select two keyframes and move the playhead where you’d like the new keyframe. The slider will transition the keyframe’s values between your selected keyframes.

Tween Types

Using the Tween Controls

Tween Slider: Adjust the amount of tweening effect applied between keyframes. Set a specific percentage value to control the interpolation.

Choose a tween type. There are two types of tweens available for new/existing keyframes:

Breakdown: Create a keyframe between two existing keyframes based on a percentage of their difference.

Blend to Neighbor: Dynamically blend the current value from the F-Curve’s value at the current time towards the nearest neighboring keyframe.
