Mirror

Mirrors (flips) entire F-Curves or selected keyframes horizontally in time. Use Mirror to reverse animation or create symmetrical movements from existing keyframe data.

Target

  • Selected F-Curves: Mirrors all keyframes in each selected F-Curve.
  • Selected Keyframes: Mirrors only currently highlighted keyframes.

Mirror Around Playhead

The mirror axis is the current frame (the playhead). This means if your playhead is at frame 50, each selected keyframe at frame 40 will be flipped to frame 60 (and vice versa). The Y-values (vertical) remain unchanged unless you apply additional transformations.

Offset

Increments the mirror origin by a certain number of frames. For instance, if your playhead is at frame 50 and you set an offset of 10, the mirror origin becomes frame 60.

Replace Keys

When enabled, deletes the original keyframes before inserting the mirrored ones. In Selected F-Curves mode, all keyframes on each curve are removed and replaced around the midpoint of the original range. In Selected Keyframes mode, only the highlighted keyframes are removed and mirrored around their own midpoint.

Workflow Tips

  • Move the playhead to the frame you want as your “mirror axis.”
  • Select the desired keyframes or F-Curves.
  • Set the Offset if you want to shift the mirror axis beyond the current frame.
  • Click Mirror to flip the selected keyframes.
