Keying Sets

Add to Keying Set

The Add to Keying Set operators let you drop the property you just clicked into the active Keying Set, so a single hot-key later can key that property on every frame. Three flavours are available from the right-click context menu:

Add Property of Selected Objects (Array)

Adds the entire property (e.g. location) for all selected objects or pose-bones. If the property has multiple components (X, Y, Z), every component path is stored in the Keying Set. Great for transforms.

Add Single Property of Selected Objects

Adds only the single component you clicked (e.g. location X) to the Keying Set. Perfect when you need to animate just one axis or a scalar value without the clutter of extra F-curves.

Remove Property of Selected Objects from Keying Set

Finds any paths in the active Keying Set that point to the same property—and strips them out. Use this to tidy a Keying Set without opening the Keying-Set panel.

Tip: The operators work in Pose Mode too: if you right-click a bone property, all selected bones get their own correctly-scoped paths.

Delete All Keying-Set Paths

The Delete All Paths command offers a one-click reset for the active Keying Set. Choose it from the header of the Keying Set Paths panel (look for the red “X” icon). Blender asks for confirmation—after that, every stored path is cleared, giving you a fresh canvas for new paths.

This is especially handy when you have accidentally built a Keying Set on the wrong set of properties or you simply want to start over.
